This methodology is at the heart of all my successes, from building a 28-people company in 12 countries and selling it, to teaching at top business schools, to publishing 7 bestsellers and reaching 50,000 readers, to helping CEOs and senior managers at 40+ Fortune 500 companies lead, innovate and meet business imperatives, helping them produce over $9 billion in profits or value-add (and, touch wood, becoming wealthy beyond my wildest dreams myself).

- 04 – YOUR SELF-ASSESSMENT. The first task of a leader is to know him- or herself. I help you assess your leadership systematically.
Module 1: Self-Awareness
- 05 – BASICS. Already the ancient Romans said, “It is absurd that a man should rule others, who cannot rule himself.” I help you build self-awareness as a robust foundation for your leadership.
- 06 – DIAGNOSTICS. I help you run diagnostics on yourself (and by extension on your team, your company, even your society) so that you can understand your own blind-spots and take charge of yourself and your life.

- 08 – FUZZY THINKING. I help you recognize and arrest automatic patterns of thinking so that you can make better, less biased, more rational decisions.
- 09 – 5 TYPES OF POWER. I help you distinguish 5 types of power so that you can be aware of your powers, and consciously choose what power to wield.
- 10 – ETHICAL DILEMMAS. I help you deal with ethical dilemmas so that you can prioritize your values and make faster and better choices.
- 11 – STILLNESS. I help you create pockets of serenity so you can step back periodically and see what really counts.
- 12 – CULTURE CLASH. I help you to diagnose issues across cultures so that you can avoid huge costs that stem from cultural blind-spots.
- 13 – DECODING CULTURES. I help you decode any culture—national or corporate (e.g. the culture of a competitor or a negotiating opponent), or even of another unit (for example if you are R&D and the other person is Marketing)—so that you can achieve your objectives across borders.
Module 2: Relationship
- 14 – BASICS. I help you consolidate the work so far on Module 1, Self-Awareness, so that you stand on that foundation as we venture into Level 2, Relationship.
- 15 – DIAGNOSTICS. I help you diagnose any issue to see if you need to work on the Relationship level so that you can intervene with a surgical strike and avoid further damage.
- 16 – CONVERSATION FOR RELATIONSHIP. I help you build powerful relationships based on trust, shared commitments and shared values so that you have the partnerships that allow you to accomplish any objective together.
- 17 – BUILDING TRUST. I help you build that most precious of all currencies, trust, so that you can lead by trust—the secret for having people follow you and getting the most out of people.
- 18 – THE POWER OF LISTENING. I help you reveal the unknown power of a low-cost resource we all have: leading by virtue of how you perk up your ears.
- 19 – THE MATTERHORN OF MASTERFUL LISTENING. I help you listen at 7 systematic levels so that you can cut out wasted time and achieve your goals by listening effectively.
- 20 – SUBTEXT. I help you read between the lines so that you have real power and effectiveness in any interaction. (I trust you not to abuse this awesome power.)
- 21 – ANGER MANAGEMENT. I help you do one of the most difficult things in life: anger management, so that you are no longer a pinball of reactions but have a choice about your response. It’s called self-regulation.
- 22 – MASTERFUL LISTENING—Tailoring Your Message. I help you do what Martin Luther King did in his history-making “I Have a Dream” speech: shape your speaking according to the listening so that you can pick up an audience where it is and lead it where you need it to go. (One of the most powerful tools I know.)
- 23 – 5 CAPITAL SINS OF SPEAKING. I help you avoid wasteful communication so that your conversations, instead of sabotaging your future, actually bring about the future you want.
- 24 – 6 OPEN SECRETS FOR EFFECTIVE SPEAKING. I provide you with 6 secrets for speaking powerfully (another virtually free resource we all have) and getting the results you want.
- 25 – FOCUS ON OPEN SECRET 4: APPRECIATION = POWER. I help you leverage your power through an unusual tool, appreciation, for exponential results.

- 30 – THE ECONOMIST ARTICLE. I help you build a 5-year vision so that you have a magnet for action and a strategic filter for day-to-day decisions in the present.
- 31 – UNFINISHED BUSINESS. I help you put the past where it belongs—in the past—so you can spend more time in the now and in the future (and that is leadership).
- 32 – NOISE VS. GROWTH. I help you minimize the drain (the necessary evils, the things you put up with, the drudgery) in your life and work so you can maximize your time leading/learning/building (or whatever lights you up).
- 33 – RESTORING VISION. I help you restore Vision (your own and someone else’s) when it goes out the window so you and your people stay future-oriented under all circumstances and so nothing can stop you.
Module 4: Strategy
- 34 – BASICS. I help you move into Strategy to make your Vision achievable; and diagnose the symptoms of weak Strategy so you can easily and elegantly provide what’s missing.
- 35 – STRATEGY-IN-ACTION. I provide you with a systematic, 7-step strategy process so that you can build alignment while producing performance breakthroughs.
- 36 – YOUR STRATEGY-IN-ACTION. I help you carry out your own Strategy-In-Action so that you can build a roadmap and realize any goal, no matter how ambitious.
- 37 – TAKE YOUR STRATEGY GLOBAL. I help you go even bigger: to scale up your strategy across the globe. The code-word is: Metanational.
Module 5: Action
- 38 – BASICS. I provide you with 4 types of language, and reveal the ingredients of effective Action—minimum input for maximum output—so you get the results you really want.
- 39 – ACCOMPLISHMENT. I help you distinguish accomplishments from mere results so that you can move from production to fulfillment—the key to happiness.
