Where did you get your information?
In today’s world, we are each one inundated with a plethora of information. We have television, which is akin to a mankind demand of “tell-a-vision.” There’s also radio, words in print, and the internet. Of course, thank you, Alexander Graham Bell, for turning electricity into sound in 1875 and patenting the telephone in 1876 allowing mankind to speak to one another across the miles! From that, mankind has combined the basic elements of the telephone and computer to result in the cell phone, which can be used as a tool for God or a tool for Satan. We’ve seen and are well acquainted with both.
Whatever tool is at your disposal, where does your information come from, local or national news, is it in books about the news and the world, or is it family and friends? There are no shortages of news sources and tools of which to obtain them, and there are trustworthy sources available in the sea of those resources that attempt to deceive. I can provide of at least one if you need.
The Word of God
The best tool available to mankind and the only tool that will reveal who the enemy is, where the enemy is, what the enemy is up to, and even when the enemy will strike is God’s Word! There is no other reliable source available to mankind that is scripture, no “tell-a-vision,” radio, words in print, or the internet can even come close to the most powerful Word of God.
God’s Word is the supreme authority over any other word, and even Satan knows that. That accusing, deceiving, and prideful evil one goes the other way when God’s Word is poured on him, see Matthew 4:1, Mark 1:13, Luke 4:1-13.
The most reliable information you can receive exposing evil in the world isn’t from any media. It is from the Word of God. As followers of Christ Jesus, we must know the workings of the enemy and the different forms evil chooses to dress himself, and God’s Word is the foundation of knowledge of both good and evil, love and hate, light and dark, God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, as well as Satan, the anti-Christ, and the false prophet.
So, where you get your information is most important, and there exists one single source where truth, goodness, and hope prevail, is victorious in the end, and that’s God’s Word.
