We want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. My name is Mike Durnin, and this is my wife, Deb. Together, we have faced the challenges of raising five children in a blended family over the last 21 years. With 11 grandkids now, as you might imagine, life has gotten very busy.

We know what it’s like to go through family counseling, and like most families, we have had our peaks and valleys along the way. During that time, we have also had the opportunity to experience several marital support programs and counselors.

As a pastor, I have had the opportunity to work with couples who are just entering the covenant of marriage, as well as those who are often struggling to navigate the pitfalls that inevitably arise in married life. Many of these couples have shared their disappointments in prior programs or counselors.

When we discovered the Prepare and Enrich program, we were inspired by the fact that it helped us quickly identify the key issues that were challenging a specific couple. More importantly, it provided us with a program that has a strong spiritual foundation, which we believe is crucial for navigating and maintaining a healthy marriage.
