What Eclipse are you facing in your life?

Eclipse

An eclipse is when a celestial body partially or fully blocks another. When celestial bodies line up, they cause an eclipse. Children and parents don’t always behave in alignment. If you have a child and find something they like or are interested in, forfeit your behavior towards it and embrace it. Spend time with them in it. Those can be eclipse moments in the lives of parents and their children, so embrace them.

We can eclipse the radiance of Christ Jesus by choosing not to follow His Holy Spirit. If we experience a prompting, no matter how weak or how strong, and we choose to do nothing, we are choosing to not allow the radiance of Christ Jesus to powerfully impact another by reflecting His power to us, in us, and through us.

Picture Christ Jesus behind you, who saved you, prompting you, and loving you. Do you take credit for His radiance and power? Do you boast of your abilities with which He is ultimately responsible? Do you pridefully appear pious in the presence of others? If or when you do, you are eclipsing His radiance, His hope, His grace, His mercy, and His love. He has given you plenty and free of charge.

Because He gives us our portion each day, we are to give that away to others. As Luke.11:33 tells us, “No one lights a lamp and puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.” Therefore, if you are standing in the way of another soul being impacted by the radiance of Christ Jesus, please don’t. Instead, tell them about Him!

His will be done with or without us, but wouldn’t you rather give everything away that He’s willingly given to you? Pass His word, His teachings, His examples, and His grace, mercy, and love, that you have so lovingly received from Him on to others in need. Don’t block someone from the radiance of Christ Jesus. Be a reflection of His radiance and shine for others as He shines for you.
