Precious and Magnificient

Do you possess anything that is both precious and magnificent? The former is something of value, high price, highly esteemed or treasured, while the latter is great indeed, exalted, stately grandeur, and lavishness.

Do those two definitions line up with something you have today and right now? If so, what is it? What are the things you consider precious and magnificent? Is it a person, a place (think destination), or is it something else?

Whatever it is, our experiences and circumstances can drive the determination of what we consider precious and magnificent. Our own beliefs in a person, place, or thing are motivated by what we think, experience, and get exposure from.

While those beliefs can be both real and powerful, they misguide us because they are severely limited to just our own experiences. Although real, they are singularly interpreted by our limited understanding.
God is precious and magnificent all at the same time. Simultaneously He’s those two things, and as amazing as they are, He’s immeasurably more, immeasurably!

But does God hold, hoard, and hide his preciousness and magnificence from us? Does He withhold those two things from us? Does He hold them over our heads? By no means! He graciously, mercifully, and willingly gives them to anyone and everyone who’s willing to receive them.

Just think about that for a moment. God Himself allows, affords, and makes available His preciousness and magnificence to each soul that has ever breathed His breath, and that’s everyone. We can each have it, as amazing and unbelievable as it is, if we simply receive it. It is ours because we are His. This should motivate us to not only receive His precious and magnificence but to ensure everyone we know or come into contact with has the opportunity to receive them as well.

This begs the question that if you’ve received God’s preciousness and
magnificence, what are you doing to bring others into that presence? Who are you impacting in a way that draws them closer to Him and His ways that are both precious and magnificent? What do others see in you that make them desire and want those things God has freely given that you now possess? Does it instill a desire and want, or does it look like something they want no part of? Does it repel or reject?

Take special care of the precious and magnificent things you’ve
received from God, for they are His and not your own. They are meant to be enjoyed and given away, just as He’s given them to those who have chosen to receive them. ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ
