Myths about Hypnosis
I’m curious, what do you make up about hypnosis?
Perhaps you’ll be made to say and do things without your recollection?
Or you’ll experience a loss of control or willpower?
Maybe you saw something in a movie or in a stage show that lead you to believe it’s dangerous or even scary?
There seems to be a lot of misconceptions about what hypnosis is and a lack of understanding about how beneficial hypnotherapy is to overcome a variety of emotional and physical challenges.
While yes there are those who use it in stage acts, the work that I do is Definitely Not That.
(I *promise* I will NEVER make you cluck like a chicken…)
Truth about Hypnosis
Hypnotherapy is a serious process of self-improvement, not entertainment.
It is a scientifically proven methodology often used as an adjunct to other beneficial therapies for long-lasting benefits.
In fact, hypnosis is very safe and is a state of hyper-awareness.
For example, any time there is an emergency, a person would naturally be able to come out of the hypnotic state by opening their eyes, and stretching or speaking.
Most people easily enter ‘Environmental Hypnosis’ while at the movies, watching TV, driving on the highway, or while reading a good book.
