Self-Doubt is dangerous
15 years ago, I could only exercise for 5 minutes. Today I can do Spartan races…
Most of my life I skipped PE.
About 15 years ago I decided I wanted to be healthy, and I got an elliptical.
After exercising for 5 minutes I was, d o n e.
After 2-3 days, I increased my exercise time to 6 minutes/day, then to 7, until I could easily do 1 hour.
After being able to do 1 hour, I took several breaks, ranging from days to months.
One thing never changed.
No matter how many weeks I didn’t exercise, I could easily start with 1 hour of elliptical.
Now I believe I could have started with 1 hour on Day 1.
My body could do it.
What I needed was to help my brain believe it.
Overcoming Mental Barriers
Now I’m a firm believer that overcoming the mental barrier is the key to unlocking our potential.
If we can convince our brains, we can do most of the things we envision.

Sal Celly’s viewpoint-
That is well said and spot on Lucia Csoma. Thanks for sharing and the timely reminder. Most of the times, our own negative self-limiting beliefs and thought patters get in the way of us maximizing our potential and leading the life we deserve with greater freedom, power and peace of mind. Rid your mind of self-doubt and fear and continue to move forward, even if it is one step at a time. Expand your zone of comfort to expand your zone of possibility. You can do it.
